Luke Hilland is a professional French Horn player and teacher based in the greater Los Angeles area. Performance experience with professional ensembles includes the Redlands Symphony Orchestra (4th Horn), the Southern California Brass Consortium, Riverside County Philharmonic, San Bernardino Symphony, Seal Beach Symphony, and others. He has performed live with artists such as Celtic Women, Kris Bowers, and Johnny Mathis. As a recording artist he has TV and film credits including Percy Jackson & The Olympians (2023), Cobra Kai, and Superman (2025).

Luke holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Redlands, where he studied with Laura Brenes and was also a Concerto Competition Prize Winner (Strauss Horn Concerto No. 1). Additionally, Luke attended Northwestern University where he holds a Master of Music in Performance and studied with Gail Williams & Jon Boen. In addition to performing, Luke teaches private lessons and his students often find success as performers. Current and former students have been admitted to county honor bands, the Redlands Youth Symphony, the YOLA National Festival Orchestra (hosted at Walt Disney Concert Hall), and more. Luke has a passion for recording YouTube videos and making unique musical arrangements for his instrument. He currently resides in Riverside, California.
